Brian began his career as a student at the Educational Center for the Arts and the Neighborhood School of Music New Haven, Connecticut 1972
He began performing with noted jazz group Deja Vu Noir, traveling and touring nationally. He later became a dancer and percussionist for the "Chuck Davis Dance Company " (he was the founder of afro-centric dance and music in America and is noted in history)
Performed on the main stage at the Lincoln Center in New York with world renowned vibraphonist Jay Hoggard.
He opened shows for heavy weights such as Dizzy Gillespe at the Apollo theater in New York, Ashford and Simpson at the Bottom Line of New York, Earl Kluge at the Body Shop in Detroit Michigan, Ramsey Lewis at Weslyin University, Roy Ayers at the University of New Haven, Grover Washington at Weslyin University, Donald Byrd at Woolsey Hall of Yale University and many others famous musicians. In addition. he founded the African Drum and Dance group, Kika Ese Drum and Dance, Muntu Drum and dance, Revelation (Christ centered) Drum and Dance Group, Co-founder of Children of the Sun World Music Group and currently the founder and artistic director of the Connecticut Performing Arts Network.
